WiGLE WiFi Wardriving Review

WiGLE WiFi Wardriving is an open-source network observation, positioning, and display client for Android devices. It is designed to be used for site survey, security analysis, and competition with friends. The app collects networks for personal research or can be uploaded to the WiGLE.net database, which has been collecting and mapping network data since 2001 and currently has over 350 million networks.

The app uses GPS to estimate the locations of observed networks, and observations are logged to a local database to track the networks found. Users can upload and compete on the global WiGLE.net leaderboard, and view a real-time map of networks found with overlays from the entire WiGLE dataset. The app is free, open source, and has no ads. It also has export options for CSV and KML files on the SD card, as well as support for Bluetooth GPS through mock locations. Additionally, the app features audio and text-to-speech alerting with a "mute" option to shut off all sound/speech.

Overall, WiGLE WiFi Wardriving is a useful tool for those interested in network observation and analysis. The app is easy to use, offers a variety of export options, and has a large database of networks to draw from. Feedback and support requests can be submitted via email, Github, or the WiGLE.net forum.
